NOTICE OF FUND AVAILABILITY

Vernon Mayor W. Michael McCormick, Vernon City Council members and members of the Vernon CommUNITY Fund Grant Committee cordially invite you to participate in a special grant proposer’s conference for qualified nonprofit organizations providing community-based programs and services in the Vernon area.

This special workshop will help you gain insight into the Vernon CommUNITY Fund grantmaking process and learn how your organization may apply for a grant.

Find out how your nonprofit organization can receive grant awards to support worthy efforts to benefit residents in neighborhoods surrounding the City of Vernon.

Local community-based nonprofit organizations with an Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) tax exempt status or fiscal sponsor and municipal government agencies are eligible to receive grants. Eligible applicants must serve communities of Bell, Boyle Heights, Commerce, Huntington Park, Maywood, Vernon, and Unincorporated East Los Angeles.
